Fire and Choir

 This will be a ceremonial workshop where we will open our voices and sing around the fire. All levels of singers or non-singers are welcome.  Shaela will share exercises to help open our voices and so we are comfortable singing (no one is obligated to sing but if you want to test your edges this is an excellent safe place).

 The Element of the Sacred Fire burning and our fire offerings will accent our intentions and prayers to open our voices as well as pathways for our life, and blessings for our planet. This will be an uplifting time together, likely joyful yet profound.

 Suggested to bring, water/water bottle, a blanket or lawn chair to sit on, layers for Colorado weather, fire offerings ({optional} but can include dried or fresh herbs or flowers, tobacco, cedar), Also optional: two pieces of paper: one with prayers you want to release, and the other for things you are calling in for yourself, others or the planet.

 Shaela Noella is a songstress, medium, and practitioner of the healing arts. She carries the magic of laughter, sound, and nature flower essences. Living nomadically the last few years; with lots of deepening in her relations with Curanderas and Nanas in Mexico and Guatemala, expanding and learning of womb care as well as being inspired by Maya Fire Ceremonies. Shaela Noella is the visionary of Sister Winds Foundation, a nonprofit to uplift women in music and healing arts. She has started and led several music groups and choirs including: Sister Winds ensemble, Medicine Weavers, Mystic Choir and Las Curanderas. One of her great joys is teaching opening of the voice classes, or one one one sessions, supporting people with their personal vocal empowerment. Saoirse (See-ur-shuh) Watters is a performer, artist, eco-feminist, folk herbalist, permaculturist, and ritual weaver. Her passions are plants and songs, therefore created PlantSong Ritual Workshops, combining folk herbalism, permaculture, seasonal wisdom, and music.She is  also a touring musician playing my original music as well as world music which deeply inspires me.
